Leverage (verb)
Official Definition

To use something to maximum advantage.

What It Actually Means

To use. Just... to use.

Example Usage

"Let's leverage our existing assets." (Translation: Let's use the things we already have, but make it sound like a financial maneuver.)

Origin / Notes

One of the great victories of corporate jargon: taking a perfectly normal word ("use") and replacing it with one that sounds more impressive but means the same thing.
